TOYS 4 TEARS in PUERTO RICO

We are excited to share that Project180-Chicago has partnered with the Embassy Suites by Hilton Dorado Del Mar Beach Resort to host our Toys 4 Tears initiative where we will provide some relief during the Christmas Holiday Season to Montessori Dorado students and their family. As many of you know, the island of Puerto Rico was traumatized by catastrophic Hurricanes such as Harvey, Irma, Jose and Maria, leaving families feeling hopeless as they attempt to rebuild their community with little to no resources.

Although we cannot fix the problem overnight, we believe that Christmas season is the time where all families should experience the joy of giving and receiving with no pressure or worries from the “how” due to unforeseen circumstances. This year we have selected and exclusively invited the school, Montessori Dorado students and their family, to share and enjoy in the Toys 4 Tears event filled with toys to giveaway, gift bags, food, music and memories that will wipe away the tears of sorrow and replace them with tears of joy for a life time!

Project180-Chicago consistently strives to assist individuals who suffer from a mental illness and or substance use disorder or have experienced catastrophic trauma that can lead to depression and/or suicide.

Your generosity and assistance of contributions will assist us to make a difference, regardless of the amount or size. We appreciate your support!

75 Students (38 females & 37 males)

ages 18 months to kindergarten

You may send age appropriate new toys, gift cards and/or small travel size toiletries (i.e. soap, body wash, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, comb/brush, socks) to:
